Lenovo_Recovery(Q) disk partition

Hello

I recently received my Lenovo T400 laptop. Originally, it had another partition on HDD titled as "Lenovo_Recovery (Q)" done by the company. But I mistakenly did something and it vanished from there and got merged with the Partition Drive "C:" of my laptop.

Now windows is prompting time and again to make a recovery backup data somewhere. Is there any way I can recover this HDD partition that was done by the factory?

Please help, I am very concerned about this.

Regards

Re: Lenovo_Recovery(Q) disk partition

Hi Afif,

You will have to use rescue and recovery environment or recovery disks to recreate recovery partition:-

Re: Recovering the 'Lenovo_Recovery' Partition on HDD

Wasn't the answer to your earlier thread sufficient enough?

If you need more information than Maliha offered it would be great if you could be a little more specific.

Re: Recovering the 'Lenovo_Recovery' Partition on HDD

Links posted by Maliha explain how to recover OS using either recover media or recovery disks. I did not make any reocvey disks before I accidently deleted the Lenovo_Recovery(Q) partition. I am wondering if there is a way to restore my computer to factory settings other than having to order the recovery disks from customer support and use them to restore my computer.

Re: Recovering the 'Lenovo_Recovery' Partition on HDD

Sorry, but no there isn't unless you know someone with an identical or very similar system who did actually make the recovery discs.

P.S. Threads merged
