Lenovo T410 Sierra Wireless Aircard and 3G SIM?

Hi

I have a Lenovo T410 from my work, and when I check Modems it says it has Sierra Wireless AirCard HSDPA Modem, but can't see this in network adaptors. How do I use this with my 3G data card?

Thanks

Re: Lenovo T410 Sierra Wireless Aircard and 3G SIM?

@KevB,

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think the Sierra WWAN card is supported on the ThinkPad, I can't seem to find the drivers for Sierra card when checking on the support site.

Drivers for WWAN for T410 based on the Lenovo Support site are for the following modems.

-Ericsson
-HuaWei
-Qualcomm
-Leadcore

The sim slot for the WWAN would be behind the battery. Remove the battery and you can see the slot with the plastic to pull the dummy sim card out.

Note that even if there is no modem installed, there still would be a dummy slot there.
