Lenovo T410 Type 2537 keyboard: key is "hypersensitive"

Hello, I have issue with my Lenovo T410 Type 2537 keyboard: key "Q" is "hypersensitive" - I touch it just lightly and it will type. I do not fell no "click" or any resistance. I had take off the key-cap (very carefully) to clean innards of the key - but issue remains the same. All other keys work normally. Can you please help? Thank you, best regards!

Re: Lenovo T410 Type 2537 keyboard: key is "hypersensitive"

Hi Jukras,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

I’m really sorry to hear that “Q” key in your Lenovo T410 is hypersensitive and responds to even a slight touch.

I would like to thank you for the efforts you have taken in cleaning the innards of the keypad.

Open Keyboard Properties by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel, then click Keyboard. Try adjusting the repeat delay and repeat rate in keyboard properties.

Also, could you please try uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard drivers in device manager.

If the above attempts didn’t help to resolve the issue, I strongly suggest you to contact our technical support for assistance.

Click here to open a link where you can select the country and get the exact contact support number. I’m sure they will be a great help.

Best Regards,

Mithun.
