Lenovo T410 Wireless Issue

Hi everybody,

I have a T410 with i5-540M and I have an Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6200 wireless adapter connected to it.

I have Windows 7 32-bit.

Problem is, the laptop recognizes the wireless adapter but I can't get it to recognize wireless networks.

It keeps showing a red X on the Wi-Fi sign in the toolbar.

An external wireless adapter works just fine.

Can you please help me getting it to work?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Re: Lenovo T410 Wireless Issue

Hi

Check out wifi adapter and access point (wireless router) settings. They should correlate.

At least:
- supported bands
- encryption method (use WPA2-PSK)
- if you don't know the SSID router (AP) translates, set this feature in the router settings as visible.

Also, make sure the wireless adapter is powered on.
