Lenovo T430 Windows 10 Expresscard EGPU

I'm thinking of getting rid of my desktop (it wasn't that strong to begin with) and repurposing the graphics card (Galax GTX 650ti Boost) to be used with my T430.

I have been looking at the EXP GDC Beast ( but I have a few reservations.

1. People have been using different ExpressCard docks

2. The computers were almost always running windows 7 or 8 and as far as I know, no one has gotten it working with windows 10 (something about Code 43, or just having a black screen)

Did anyone ever get it working with a T430 with Windows 10?

A Dell from the same generation reports success under Windows 10, albeit with different dock and GPU:

Do remember that you'll get appreciably less performance in the eGPU configuration than in a proper desktop configuration.

Re: Lenovo T430 Windows 10 Expresscard EGPU

the error 43 has nothing to do with win 10 or 7.

its an issue with nvidia new cards the 10xx series.

i hav a t430s and a t430 and i can run them both with the beast egpu through xpresscard.

i use a 950gtx AND i also manage to use a 1060gtx (there is a solurion for the error 43 so dont worry)
