Hi Lenovo Community,
I am in dire need of somebody's help to confirm some suspicions of my laptop.
I own a t430s, bought from about a year and a half ago, its a customized model.
Recently, I bought a new headset which was wireless that is supposed to be used via bluetooth.
For whatever reason, I thought my laptop had bluetooth technology, but now I'm not sure what I can do, I can't return my headset, and I've been googling things up but with no answers.
First I want to ask .. do I have bluetooth on my laptop? I went to device manager and this is what I got:
And from start menu I typed in bluetooth, these were the results:
Can someone please tell me how I can get bluetooth applied on my T430s so that I can use my headset wirelessly?

Welcome to Lenovo Community!
As per the query we understood that you are facing an issue with Bluetooth adapter on your ThinkPad T430s.
This could be issue with function keys check with pressing Fn+F5 key and you will get an option to enable Bluetooth and Wifi adapter check with this option.
If you are not getting the option then I think your system is not shipped with Bluetooth adapter, please provide the MTM (Machine Type Model) number which will be at the back of the system written on the white sticker so that we will confirm if the Bluetooth is shipped along with the sysetm.
Hope this helps.

(I have created a new topic for this post - please reply there: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-T400-T500-and-newer-T/T430S-touchpad-trackpad-ribbon-cable-and...
I have two issues and would appreciate any help:
1) I have a T430S with a bluetooth daughter board plugged in. I actually bought a new one because I thought it must be missing since there is no way of getting it to show in Windows (10) - but when I pulled up the keyboard bezel, the same part was already there (I swapped it for the new one). Anyway, I can still not see any bluetooth hardware in device manager, and no amount of driver installation seems to get it to show.
Can someone please tell me the part no. of the ribbon cable and small board 'Bluetooth Wireless Radio Switch FPC' (see https://support.lenovo.com/au/en/documents/pd023563).
2) After messing around with the bluetooth module (see above), the trackpad no longer works. I can see now that the ribbon cable's small gold fingers are damaged (the cable poking straight up from the trackpad and connecting to the motherboard. This is the more serious problem - but I can't work out what the part number is for this ribbon cable. My keyboard bezel does not have a fingerprint reader.
Thank-you for any help
