According to https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/docksSearch/ the Lenovo T480 20L6 laptop is compatible with the ThinkPad Ultra Docking Station. However the docking station uses an entirely different power supply than the laptop (the old blocky rectangular one vs the newer mini rounded rectangle). The laptop itself fits on the docking station, but does not charge despite the docking station being plugged in. There are two connector slots on the dock that appear to be for the newer power supply, however neither of those provide power either.
Is the docking station incorrectly listed as compatible when it really isn't, is there a hardware malfunction, or something else entirely?
