Mobile Broadband and Windows 10

On a T430s I have upgraded to Windows 10.  Unfortunately the mobile broadband driver (h5321gw) is not working.  I have downloaded and installed the latest driver which shows as installing and operating correctly but the system does not see the driver.

Any help appreciated.

Re: Mobile Broadband and Windows 10

Hi

Check out modem firmware and upgrade that one in another laptop installed, not running win10:

Or downgrade win10, upgrade modem fw, then upgrade to wi10 again.

Re: Mobile Broadband and Windows 10

Everything was updated and working correctly in windows 7 prior to the upgrade.  Windows 10 drivers downloaded and installed after the update and although program installs correctly windows reports the drivers as missing.  See no advantage in returning to windows 7 again!

Re: Mobile Broadband and Windows 10

The firmware mentioned in the link above will not load as it is looking for Win 8 - as read from the error log produced.  I need a firmware updater that is specifically for Win 10!

Re: Mobile Broadband and Windows 10

On my T440, the win10 upgrade went smooth, including the N5321 unit. The driver installed

is from Ericsson AB, dated 05-09-2013, version 8.0.12.1

That's a reason I adviced to use another laptop not win10 running for the fw upgrade. Presently this is the only workaround.
