I'm one of the Helpdesk tech. Our company have variety of Lenovo Thinkpad model from T460 thru T480 and docking station. But all our monitor are LG. My question is, a lot of our user complain about their monitors are not response. Like everything will work great but every other week when they dock their laptop into docking station the monitor will not turn on. We have tried everything from updated windows to update the firmware to change out the display cord. But it doesnt seem to fix the issue. We have atleast one ticket regarding about this every 2 week. If you guys experiencing this before and have any useful tips or solutions, please share

How do you connect your external monitor? Is it connected via HDMI,DP,Type C,VGA? Have you tried connecting the external monitor directly to the laptop without the docking station? What is the model of the docking station that you're using? Have you tried updating the display driver?

The 2 (LG brand) monitor connected to Lenovo docking station using DP cord and then we just dock the laptop. I havent try to connect the monitor directly toward the laptop. Because it's an office environment so we need dual monitor and other essential like mouse keyboard so we have to use the docking station. Yes i have updated the display driver. But we still experiencing this issue
