Hi Lenovo,
I have a strange issue with the USB-C Dock
If I plug-in my Logitech G502 mouse then it will work for a minute and then randomly hangs and freezes.
If I plug-in the mouse directly into my Lenovo T470 then everything works fine
What I've tried:
- Update of Intel Chipset Driver
- Update of Firmware (of Laptop and Docking Station)
- Restart of laptop many times
- Swap of docking station (exact same model)
- Reinstall of Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver
- Remove of device via device manager
- Remove of Logitech G Software (and reinstall)
It doesn't matter where I plug the mouse into the docking station it will freeze after a minute for about 30 seconds. Then it will work again for 30 seconds and then freeze forever.
Laptop is connected via USB-C cable to the rear USB-C port of th dock so that the battery will be charged as well.
Regards,
Alex

Wellcom to the lenovo form and thank you for giving us feedback on this issue.
We have reproduced the same issue. It seems to be a compatibility issue. If we use the lenovo usb mouse, it's okay.
So, can you try another mouse?
Our team was involved on debug.I will keep you posted for any updated news.

Hi,
Yes with another mouse it works. Tested a crappy Dell standard business mouse.
But thats's no acceptable fix nor a workaround since:
- My Logitech G502 has high DPI which is good because I don't need to move all over the desk to get to the corner of my screen.
- has extra keys and fits nicely in my hand
-
The mouse wheel mechanism is made up of steel instead of common plastic. That means the mouse wheel mechanism will last longer.
===========
So the question here is: How can we resolve the issue? It works on my Lenovo Laptop (T470 with 16GB RAM) just fine.
Only when connected trough the docking station it is not working. Are you able to provide a hotfix or update for the USB-C dock?

Hello.
Can you try to update the latest driver and FW version of the Logitech G502 mouse? We can not duplicate issue after update the mouse FW. The latest FW version is 88.2.17.
Please download the latest driver and FW version with the following link:

Hi,
I don't think this is correct:
My firmware is newer then the one you staed in your post.

I see that the G502 has two different models. Which one do you use?
I'm using the G502 model is M-U0042.

Hi,
Yes correct, YOU are using the Core Version. However mine is the Proteus Spectrum version

So thats the mouse I'm using.

I have the same issue with my dock
ThinkPad Ultra Docking Station with a ThinkPad T480
with mice
Razor Abyssus and Corsair M65
I originally had the USB-C Dock with the issue but it couldn't support my 3 external monitors and I switched to the ultra dock hoping it could resolve the mouse issue as well but it did not.
