It worked perfectly for the first week and then it could not longer be found? We looked in device manager and tried everything but in the end it seems it must have come unplugged? Now my week old computer will need to go in for repair. I asked the CSR and the manager if they could have someone come look at it to get it fixed since it was only a week old and they said no.

My T510 did not come with the WWAN adapter so I had to install it myself. It's 4 screws and a lift of the keyboard to get to it -- very easy to get to. Go for it!

Did you or do you have a PDF showing the 4 screws or where they are located to do this yourself?

I am looking at it now. Wow is this graph/pdf hard to understand. http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/63y0536.pdf It looks like number 4 on page 142 and page 144 is where the part is mentioned but where do it show the step by step instructions to do it yourself? I think I might just send it in and go without my laptop another 5 days after waiting a month to get it. This is very disappointing. thank you for trying but this is over my head.

Looks like the procedure to removing the WWAN card is on page 101 in HMM.
Seems like all you have to do is remove the keyboard (about 2 screws),
and remove 2 more screws that are holding down the WWAN card.

I just had it happen again where the Gobi card could not been seen in Device Manager under network adapter. Lenovo told me I would need to send my machine back again becuase the connection must have come loose? Later I kept looking an the Gobi driver were put under other with little question marks next to them? I right clicked and selected update network driver and it put it back in with the network driver. There where 4 Gobi drivers for different things such as AT&T, erizon ect..
Al of a sudden it would work but Verizon is VERY SLOW. So slow that when I tried to test the speed on a broadband test it would not load or work. Where do I go to look fr the latest driver for the Gobi card and Lenovo?

Alright I was able to doos the upload and download test vis my Verizon WANN and my upload was .09 Mb/s while my download speed is .14 Mb/s. I have never seen my connection run this slow???

I downloaded the latest version of Verion Wireless VZ Access and it updated all of the drivers and got everything working. I went to do a broadband speed test and the upload is now .47 Mb/s and the download is 1.05 Mb/s. I am not going to break any speedtests but I can live with it now. Sadly I had to mve away from having Lenovo managing it and over to Verizon to get it fixed. Now that the drivers are updated maybe I will go back?
