Hello All!
I just bought a T470 notebook with 8GB of RAM. Turns out that I'm going to need more RAM so I would like to upgrade to 32GB. Would installing 2 units of "16GB DDR4 2133MHz SoDIMM" work?
Thank you!

Hi Loungepuppy,
Warm Greetings & welcome to Lenovo Community, happy to have you here.
It depends upon your requirement ideally you will need a same kind (like frequency, type, size) of RAM in both slots to achieve a dual channel configuration.
Therefore, you can either install an 8GB stick to the existing configuration or go ahead with even 16GB stick aswell.
Edit- This system does support 32GB max 2400MHz DDR4 (source)
I hope the above information helped you.
Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!
Regards,
Prabhansh

Hi Prabhanash,
Many thanks for the quick response!
Removing the 8GB stick and replacing it with two 16GB sticks would be the way to go if I want to bump up my RAM to 32 GB, correct?
