Need info for changing keyboard on my T540p

Hello.

 

My Thinkpad comes without a backlit keyboard, The model number of my thinkpad is 20BFS1VN00. I bought from a retailer on Amazon a keyboard with a backlit , it have the code number is FRU: 04Y2481
If i installs itself, does it work?

Dear Rich,

I'm installed this keyboard, keys typing and mouse pointing allready working but backlit is not working  ( press Fn+Space). What problem? Any solution for this problem?

Make sure it is completely shut down.  Hold the shift key while you shut down.  Then unplug, remove the main battery and press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.  Start again.  If that doesn't work, the keyboard is defective
