Now that the dimples on my T510 trackpad are gone...

...I solved all of my trackpad sensitivity troubles!

after cleaning with a moist microfiber cloth, I found that thedimpled  layer of varnish had a disturbing worn-out patch in the middle of the trackpad, so I decided to scratch out the rest with my fingernail. I ended up with a standard satin-finish trackpad.

While I was upset to lose the tiny dimples on the surface, I discovered that my trackpad is now working like charm! All one and two fingers gestures are much more accurate, scrolling and pinch-to-zoom eventually behave as they should do, I always had an unsatisfactory behaviour.

So, I'm not suggesting anyone to do the same!!! But in case yours too get worn, these are just my two cents.
