Power adapter question (T410 2537-DN1)

I have a thinkpad T410 (2537-DN1) and my original power adapter is seeing some wear and tear that I have temporarily fixed with some electrical tape. My adapter is currently a 60W/20V model. What I am wondering is that I still have an adapter from my old T60. It's a 90W/20V model. Can I safely use it on my T410? My research has found both yes and no suggestions but nothing solid. Ergo, I thought I would ask.

Thanks in advance,

Yes, that will work OK.

Cheers,

So no potential overheating issues or strain on the battery? I have a 9-cell.
