I just installed Windows 7 on a T510. I downloaded the Hotkey Integration driver for it and installed the system driver and on screen display. I restarted but nothing happened! There's no volume display and also the mute mic button doesn't work. I checked the services and turns out the On Screen Display service isn't running. I tried to start but it says
"Windows could not start the On Screen Display service on Local Computer.
Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion."
And I found out the reason why the mute mic button doesn't work is because its service depends on On Screen Display. Is there some other driver I need to install to have the On Screen Display service start properly?

Lets start from the best spot and make sure all the drivers you did install are the current version.
This is the Hotkey integration driver: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS014985
Can you also post what version of the system driver your running and screen display?
Here is a link to all the drivers for your T510: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page?

Thanks Hiro for reply!
Those are the exact drivers I installed from your first link. It comes packaged with the system driver and screen display.
Lenovo System Interface Driver: 1.05
On Screen Display: 6.61.00
Note: These are the first drivers I'm installing, I have not installed anything else because in my past experience with Lenovo machines drivers have to be installed in a specific order.

Do you plan on using any other thinkvantage tools? What I have found is that some programs require others but are not listed that they do. Do you have system update? Could you run it? When your done could you post back with the results.

I'm very glad it worked! I was sure you need to install another Thinkvantage program being as you were having a dependency issue. If you ever have any other issue please feel free to come back again and the community will be more then happy to help.
