After downgrading from Vista Business to Xp Professional I have some problems with my fingerprint reader.
The error message is: 0xe7210005 The user can't be registered. Didn't found fingeprint reader.
I have already installed the latest driver and fingerprint software but it doesn't work.
System Information:
T500 2055W2G Win XP Professional SP 3
SMBIOS-Version: 2.4

Hi. Do you have the full set of 6 cds for XP or is it the conversion kit (2-3 cds). If it's the first than install XP on the formatted hdd. You can use gparted for that.
If it's option 2 than try to install Vista again and start the conversion process again. Should work.
