Qualcomm Gobi 1000 and GPS

[ Edited ]

I've Gobi 1000 card installed on T400 running Windows Vists 64.

The card is not yet activiated to use with a service provider but I came to know that it offers GPS function.

Does anyone how to enable the GPS function?

Thanks

You need to install Thinkvantage GPS software, but without phone provider, it will work like a stand-alone GPS (outside with line-of-sight to satellites).

Thanks that helped!

I installed  the 2.80 version.  I don't know why Lenovo removed Google maps support.  Right now, it seems it support Bling maps only.
