My system is a ThinkPad T510 (4349-4JG) with a Qualcomm Gobi 2000 module.
I'm having problems using this for GSM DialUp connections. A colleague have a W500 with Ericsson F3507g and there it work's flawlessly. He uses the following initialization string to do this at+cfun=5;+cbst=71,0,1. This one does not work with the Gobi module. I have had some success with manually connecting to the virtual com port with a terminal client and then setting at+cfun=1 and at+cbst=14,0,1. Problem is that the connection is very unstable and very often I can't connect at all.
I'm dialing up unix machines with a Siemens TC65 module and I can do this everytime without problems using an external comport modem from a different computer.
Hopefully someone have a solution for this?
