Qualcomm Gobi 2000 in T410 not functional with Windows 10

2016-12-19, 15:43 PM

Hello community.

My T410 was upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, Windows 10 meanwhile with Anniversary Update.
A Qualcomm Gobi 2000 WAN card in the device manager is correctly depicted as "Qualcomm Gobi 2000 HS-USB Modem 9205", driver version (amongst others). I can turn on and off Cellular Network in the action center.

But with Settings -> Cellular Network I get a status text saying the account is not activated.
When I try Cellular Network -> Advanced Options -> Add an Internet APN, on "save" I get the error message "The mobile device is missing or not operating properly".

The SIM card is active, I tested another one in exchange, same result.
I also uninstalled and reinstalled the device driver according to https://support.lenovo.com/de/en/documents/migr-75433 with the option DEFAULTIMAGE=6.

Any help appreciated!
