Questions about T410's Active Protection System on Ubuntu

  1. On my Windows 7, APS works well with an icon on the system tray. But in Ubuntu (13.04), because of no driver, I dont know if APS works or not. The question is: does it still work silently without the driver on Ubuntu?
  2. If APS doesn't work, is my laptop harmed when it's shaken?
  3. Does Lenovo have any solution to get ASP worked on Linux (Ubuntu)?

Re: Questions about T410's Active Protection System on Ubuntu

If no answer can be found as with another commenter below, now is the time if there was ever one, to buy a(n) SSD.

They are considered more rugged than a spinning platter, have no need to defrag, are lighter and smaller than a disk, -

1 1/8" size. However for all of their attributes, they command a price premium.

I love my LENOVO.

I do not work for LENOVO.

Thank you. Although SSD price is still high, I think this is the best solution for me
