RAM Upgrade for T430

Stuck with the 4 GB config to save money, now I want to upgrade my RAM to 8 GB. Crucial seems to be the way to go, just wondering if I should get 1.35v or 1.5v memory. Pros and cons, differences, not really sure which to get. Here are the two sets of RAM:

Thanks!

Re: RAM Upgrade for T430

Welcome to the community.

Look up the memory for your machine on the Lenovo store. It's likely about $35 for a 4gb stick. Then compare it to prices for other brands to see if it's worth going with anything else. I stuck with Lenovo for my X220.

Cheers.

How will the voltage difference affect my computer?

Re: RAM Upgrade for T430

The voltage difference should not matter either way. I think its best to use the same voltage in both sticks. Lower voltage should give slighlty longer battery life.
