Screen Replacement and Warranty

So, I'm in the works to buy a used T460 that has warranty until 2020.
The only problem is the screen. It's a 768p one.
My ideia is to buy a new 1080p IPS and change it myself.

Will this void the warranty?

If yes, then how can I change the screen without voiding the warranty?

Cheers,

Re: Screen Replacement and Warranty

Maybe. Safest, but more expensive, is to have Lenovo change it.

Every country has different rules.  Certainly, the parts you change or work on won't be covered.
