Scroll Lock Indicator Stuck

Hi Folks,

This occassionally happens to me: the little black scroll lock indicator won't turn off.  It's functional, and I can switch scroll lock on and off, but the little black window just won't go away!  Any help?

thanks.

Re: Scroll Lock Indicator Stuck

It happens occasionally to me too. You can end the tpnumlk.exe or tpnumlkd.exe (don't remember which one) in Task Manager and they'll go away entirely until you reboot or launch the processes again from C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY.

Re: Scroll Lock Indicator Stuck

Thanks Colonel!  Here's a little bat file I wrote to make it easy.  For those unfamiliar with bat files, just save this code in a file, name it whatever you want, but make sure its extension is ".bat".  For example, name it scroll_lock_restart.bat.  Then just double-click to run it.

@echo off
taskkill /F /IM tpnumlkd.exe
START /D "C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY" tpnumlkd.exe
