Sierra EM7345 how to update firmawre

I've got old 1.1 firmware and because of that (dis-)connecting issues.

Using the newest drivers from lenovo (02-2016) I followed the instructions from:

1) edited the config.xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
	<!-- Location of where the firmware database is located. -->
	<!-- 0 - turn off Application logging. 1 - turn on  Application logging -->
	<!-- Max size for debug logger file -->
	<!-- Resource file with translated string table -->
	<!-- Silent Auto Firmware Update -->
	<!-- Prompt Silent Auto Firmware Update failures, this configuration is only applicable if 'SilentAutoFWUpdate' is true -->
	<!-- Enable Firmware System Tray. Default is true to enable -->
  <!-- Enforce module compatibility -->
  <!-- Added new parameter to update firmware at time of Add -->
  <!-- Time in milli seconds -->

2) added this to the FLSInformation.xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<FLSImage name="FIH7160_V1.2_WW_01.1528.04_Generic.fls"> <MCC>260</MCC> <MNC>01</MNC> </FLSImage>

the fls file name is different according to the names of files in folder :

After reboot nothing happens — I havent been asked for the update Smiley Sad

my setup:

ThinkPad T540p

Windows 10 64bit
firmware: FIH7160_V1.1_MODEM_01.1349.12

and Home Provider: 26001

I will be grateful for ANY help! Can't live with this device Smiley Frustrated
