Logging in on my T500 2055-A77 takes a pretty long time.


The Start bar takes a while to load. My system has 4GB RAM in it and I have only 18 GB of hard drive space left in the 100 GB drive, which was migrated over from an older T61 model. I also cannot watch videos being streamed online. 


I have yet to configure the 160GB T500 drive.


You are running out of drive space.


Try to run a disk clean-up and defragmentation.


To deal with the issue of space, clone the 100GB drive which you had taken from the older T61 over to the larger capacity T500 drive.
