Solution Center " Windows Never Updated" & Proper shutdown with SSD

Solution Center Always warns me that Windows has never been updated. However, I remember clearly updating and the windows update history reads that i have. i dontwhat the problem is? has anyone else been experienceing this issue?

I'll mention that i did reinstall the fingerprint scanner software and it was updating just fine until recently i.e around last week.

Question #2

How do i shutdown the machine with sleep disabled and hibernate enabled with an SSD? i've noticed that Autocad runs much, MUCH smoother when i can get the machine to shut down properly. That being said, i don't know how to do this on purpose and not accidentaly.
