System Overheating (T420)

Hi,

This is my first Lenovo and I am fusterated to hell that I cannot find infomation to talk to someone about my system overheating and slowing down.  This machine is less than a month old and I already have problems.

T420   4177CT0

It is clearly hot at the top left and I feel no air movement. There is absolutly no reason this should be happening less than a month in.

Re: System Overheating (T420)

Under warranty, return it to your shop. First 6 months is always a burn in period.

download the TPfancontrol from the internet.

check CPU and GPU temp, and what RPM your fan is spinning at.
