T400 6475 bios corrupt

2017-08-17, 20:29 PM

I have a T400 6475 laptop. Beyond that, I have no idea its actual type or serial because it does not have a label and it won't go into the bios.

All of a sudden I boot it up and get the start screen and that's it. No beeps, hdd runs, dvd drive powers up, fan runs.

Reseated memory, hdd, even cpu. So I'm assuming a corrupted bios or damaged mb.

So, when i do a search here for T400 or 6475 the search returns nothing.

What is the procedure to recover from a corrupt bios?

I'm assuming its ctrl-some key, power on, with  usb memory stick installed with something on it?

Just need the info.
