T410 - 2537-9UG, Missing TPM chip?

Hi, we got 3 new T410 model 2537-9UG, and all three got missing TPM chip.

Anyone else got the same problem?

We have got alot of other T410, not sure about same model, and all got TPM working with Bitlocker.

Thanks, Magnus

Your machine should include the TPM (secure chip) as per the model no.

Check to see if the TPM is enabled in the BIOS menu. It may just be disabled and hidden.

Re: T410 - 2537-9UG, Missing TPM chip?

The latest batch of our 2537 don´t have TPM, not possible to enable in BIOS. We have around 15-20 2537 before that worked fine.
Ticket added to Lenovo Support, and they esaclated the ticket. Latest info was that they want to have serial number of motherboard.
Probably more 2537-9ug that got the same problem.

Update on the issue: Lenovo have open 8 new machines at their vendor, and they also miss TPM chips.

Sounds like they used motherboard for T410 systems that go to countries with restrictions on civilian owned encryption.
