T410 Missing Driver for WLAN

Question

I have a T410 (2537-MN9-S/N R8-*****-11/01) where I recently reinstalled Win 7 Pro (64 bit).

Unfortunately none of the WLAN Drivers on the LENOV Download page worked - WLAN is not recognised.

Prior to the reinstallation of Win 7Pro the WLAN worked  fine.

Answer

Check if  the WLAN device appears in Device Manager by try pressing Fn+F5.

In the event that this is not present, based on the MT-M above, these are the laptop specs:

i5-520M(2.4GHz), 4GB RAM, 160GB 7200rpm HD, 14.1in 1440x900 LCD, Intel HD Graphics, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11agn wireless, WWAN option, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure Chip, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion, WinXP Pro

Drivers are available from the End of Life site: https://download.lenovo.com/eol/index.html

It would be good to verify the actual model of your WiFi card.  Go to Device Manager, right click on the WLAN adapter and select properties.  If there isn't a clear model description in the General tab, go to Details and grab the hardware IDs.
