T410 - The screen is dimmed from time to time, while working on batteries

2012-10-11, 15:32 PM

Hello,

While I work with battery, my T410 screen is suddenly dimmed for several seconds and then it lights as before. This happened every ~10 minutes.

What is the problem?

Regards,

Uriel

1) Check whether the problem occurs on the external screen.

2) Check whether this problem occurs in the BIOS menu.

3) Also check whether in windows whether this problem occurs when you move the screen around.

4) Try the laptop in linux mode, boot using an Linux Live CD.
