T410 Thinklight Detail Question

Hi,

I have a 2537AF8 T410 that should have a Thinklight. When pressing Fn+PgUp the screen overlay icon appears but the light does not turn on.

Can anyoine point out which of the cables from the mainboard to the LCD holds the ThinkLight signal? I can't find this in the HMM.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Umberto

Re: T410 Thinklight Detail Question

AFAIK, it's part of the display cable.

Re: T410 Thinklight Detail Question

Thanks for the quick reply.

After taking a more detailed look, it's a separate cable on the right side of the display. p 147 in the HMM.
