T410 Type 2522-w4w dot1x wireless authentication spam problem

T410 running Windows XP with SP3.  11b/g/n wireless lan mini-pci express adapter II from Realtek Semiconductor Corp.

There seems to be an issue with this laptop spamming the authentication server with dot1x auth requests in excess of 500 packets in a 5 second interval.  I'm currently running driver 1088.0.310.2010 driver date 3/10/2010 updated from an older version.  I also did a windows update and BIOS update as recommended by Lenovo support.  I'm still experiencing the same problem and it appears to be intermittent.  I've noticed it happens more frequently when taking the laptop on and off the docking station as well as taking it out of sleep mode.  I've tuned the roaming sensitivity to low and turned off allow laptop to power off wireless nic to save power.  Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is your system free of malware?

Try updating to the newest one off of Realtek's site. It seemed to help the RTL8192SE found in my X100e.

Also check the beacon interval for the adapter in Device Manager.
