T410 Upgrade

Hey guys. I have a T500 and another person wants it more than I do so I was thinking of giving to to him with a install of 8 Pro, That is not the question though. My question is if I uninstall some of the T500 only drivers and put the SSD in the T410 and install the T410 drivers is that easier and stable enough to be better than doing a clean install and transferring my files. (Unfortunately I would probably lose my JetPack Joyride save data any way to copy that I am like level 12) all my other Steam games thankfully save in the cloud. I also have a second question. It is about the T500 ultra bay adapter for a SATA hard drive (where my Steam games and Blu-Ray saves are stored) is it there same type you use in the T410? I don't mind buying an adapter but if I can I would like to use the same one. Is that possible? I probably can Google it in like 5 seconds but since I am posting a confirmation would be fantastic. Hi parmardilan,

 

As far as switching the SSD, it should work once the correct drivers are put in place.

 

In regards to your second question, according to this Personal Systems Reference the ultrabay specs should be the same for both.
