T410 Wireless Signal Connect/Disconnect Issue

I have all my drivers up to day and occasionally my wireless signal disconnects and then reconnects.  This does not happen with any of my other devices on the network and have a 99% signal strength.  Any ideas?

Re: T410 Wireless Signal Connect/Disconnect Issue

Try looking under Device Manager for your wireless adapter under Network Adapters. Go to it's properties page and under the advanced tab change Roaming Aggressiveness to lowest.

Re: T410 Wireless Signal Connect/Disconnect Issue

Today I realize my T410 also disconnect randomly and try all solution. And my best solution for my laptop to reinstall the old drive for wireless. I found the driver on C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLANINT  which already there even I restore using blue button ThinkVantage. Just uninstall the driver of wireless via Device Manager - Network Adapter and run the Autorun.exe on that folder and your wireless will not disconnect randomly anymore!  The driver date 5/19/2009 and it's pretty old but it solve my problem Smiley Happy

Re: T410 Wireless Signal Connect/Disconnect Issue

You never specified your WiFi adapter.

If its Intel version they do have updates to fix specific problems. You might want to check it out. Routers also have firmware updates to address their problem.
