For anyone that has PM'ed me I have asked Jamez to update this thread in regards to how to obtain these little docking station stabilizers and posibly the cleaning tools.
As an authorized service center we received boxes of them to service our customers.
I do not know how they are approaching this for the home/small-medium business customers.

Thanks for the thread - we have been having this issue and made all the standard assumptions - rough use, bad drivers, bad monitors - until I searched the forum. We haven't tracked it specifically - so hard to say how many hours we've spent on this at my workplace. Glad to knwo what the issue is and would love to know how to get the kit.. already PM'd JameZ so hopefully get a response directly or here on how to get the kit.

Is it any specific batch of docks or is it a general problem ?
I've experienced this problem on PC/Dock's from a delivery in september 2010 and the issue started around summer 2011 - Right now the issue is exploding on PC/Dock's from this delivery.
I had a big delivery in february 2011 and so far I haven't heard any specific complaint for these - but i'll dig into the actual situation.

I just received the kit. The FRU number listed on the bag is 75Y5797. There are no instructions. I have asked the Lenovo service rep that got me the kit for instructions. Has anyone else got them or can give a quick rundown on how to apply ? There is a can of cleaner, pads and 5 other peices. Not sure where everything should go. Thanks !

I've recieved the spacer parts but no cleaning set.
Adding/replacing the parts did minimise the problem.
It no longer immediately flashes by table-vibrations but if the PC/dock is lightly pushes, the monitor still have black-outs.
It have been testet on one single PC/Dock for 5 minutes - We'll check with a longer test-period.

Four days after cleaning of 3 PCs with immediately effect,
1 PC/dock has returned to an error state.
We've running a discovery - so far 150 out of 450 users reports an error.
Sadly enough on both T420 as well as T410.
