Re: T410 motherboard replacement

Stop!  63Y1483 looks like a board with integrated graphics.  (no GPU) The parts list for older systems and CTO machines is not always accurate.  Can you post a picture of your machine with the keyboard removed?  It will be obvious whether you have a graphics chip.

Re: T410 motherboard replacement

richk, I'm not home this week and my T410 is there, so I don't have any pictures of the inside.

Can I send you the specs of the notebook in a private message, like I did with Prab?

Re: T410 motherboard replacement

I arrived home today. Are these two pictures ok or do I have to take something more off?

Re: T410 motherboard replacement

That is an Intel board.  (not nVIDIA)

The board 63Y1483 you mentioned before will be fine

Re: T410 motherboard replacement

Thanks!!! I'm going to buy it. I hope this makes my computer work again Smiley Happy

Offtopic: my problem was that, one day, my t410 started making like flashes of black screens. Each day was worse, and 1 week later it went all "black" and I couldn't turn it on anymore. The screen was like this when I tried to turn it on:

IMG_20170303_184934248.jpgIMG_20170304_104030.jpgIMG_20170304_100130148.jpgIMG_20170304_100140821.jpg

I tried another screen (connected by the VGA port) and it didn't work. I also tried another HDD and didn't work. So I think it must be the motherboard, what do you think?

Re: T410 motherboard replacement

That would be my best guess, but a screen with failed electronics can also cause problems
