Hello, I've received a new company laptop a T410 TYPE 2537-24G S/N xxxxxxx 10/08. It was delivered with a 65 Watt adapter and when I boot it connected to the adapter (battery in or not) it states that the adapter does supply insufficient power and therefore system performance is reduces and battery charging time may be increased. It asks me to confirm otherwise it will not boot. I've got the extended battery pack on it and an Intel I5 M540 CPU. It's got a solid state hard drive and I think the graphic memory is onboard not discrete. The website says it comes with a 65 Watt power supply when graphics on board and 90 Watt when descrite. But why does the alert come up in DOS boot menu and tell me that the 65 Watt power supply is insufficient? Would it be beneficial for me to get a 90 Watt one? Could the 90 Watt do any harm to the laptop? Our IT support can't help me, maybe you lot can. Thanks for your support, looking forward to your answers. Ralf

Ralf, welcome to the forum,
I'd check with your company Admin, the system has discrete graphics and should therefore have the 90W power supply.
