T410 wifi unstable

Hello,

My wifi goes off for 2-3 seconds very often. At first, it sometimes also restarted the router, but after i disabled upnp, this problem was solved.

I have also tried to upgarde / downgrade wifi drivers.

It doest happen only at home, but also at public wifi areas.

Dont know what else to do.

Thank You,

Risto

Re: T410 wifi unstable

Make sure you have the latest firmware on your router and change the wireless channel on your to "auto". Let us know if this fixes it.

Re: T410 wifi unstable

I have the latest firmware and wireless is on auto, but the problem remains. I dont think its anything to do with the router, beacause it happens in different places.

Try this....

1.  Check the WiFi card driver in the Windows Device manager, and if there is any option in the device driver for powering down the card, disable that option.

2.  If you are using Access Connections, go to the profiles you are using and on the second page of the profile, under Advanced Settings, make sure the setting is for Maximum Performance.

Cheers,

Bill
