Question

I have a T410 with windows 7 enterprise 32 bit. The normal wireless connection and blue tooth connections are stable and works good. However the Wireless WAN radio seems to turn itself off after about 5 minutes regardless of whether or not I'm connected . I've un-installed the access connection program and rebuilt the profiles with no luck. I've also change the power management setting both in the device manager and in the control panel.

What else can I try?

Answer

It's possible that you need to deselect the option "Allow the wireless LAN radio to be turned off when inactive" found under Global settings.

Launch Access Connections>Tools>Global Settings.

Deselect it and see if that fixes your problem.
