T410 won't dock properly for 1 user profile

I have a T410 with mini dock and attached external monitor. When logged on as Administrator, docking station works fine. External monitor displays when laptop cover closed, display reverts to laptop when laptop removed from docking station, etc. However, when logged on as different user (with admin rights), docking station/monitor behavior broken. laptop with lid closed does not automatically revert to external monitor, and if I manually change to 'projector only', it doesn't stick.  Both laptop users set up with same power options, display, and mobility settings.

 

Frustrating. Any help appreciated.

I would like to know the user accounts which you are using are network profiles or Local Profile
