So during our image building process for the Lenovo T410s we discovered that the Qualcomm Gobi 2000 HS-USB Mobile Broadband Device 9205 is not compatible with AT&T Communication Manager version 7.2
The Lenovo Access Connections software must be used in order to connect to AT&T. We create our own custom image for our laptops here and try to keep bloatware to a minimum.
The Ericsson F3507g card which we use on our X301 work with the AT&T Communication Manager.
Is there any particular reason why a mobile broadband card was chosen for the T410s that is not compatible with a carrier's own connectivity software?

Note that you don't need either Communication Manager or Access Connections if running Windows 7.
A 'non-bloatware' solution is to just use the GOBI drivers from the Lenovo site and Windows itself.
