Finaly i got the cable this morning, after lunch i started the upgrade following the maintenance manual after two hours my t420 was up and running with a much better display. It is really a big difference.
All youneed to do is buy the screenand also purchase a video cable HD+........ Your original cable does not support 1600x900, you can get the cable from ebay. The Inverter should be fine. Hope this helps you guys i have done this many times on many Laptops.
