Re: T430 RAM upgrade to 16/32GB

Thanks Atli. I just wanted to confirm if I could scale up the specs. My other option was to buy a new P50/51 with some customizations for CPU and memory( E3, 64GB ram etc..) . I keep hearing that the heat dissipation in these two is not so good and I should probably wait till P52 hits the shelf. What do you suggest?

Re: T430 RAM upgrade to 16/32GB

I have a very good experience with both the P70 and P50, and heat has never been one of the problems I've encountered with them. All the machines I've encountered are Xeons, 32-64GB RAM, my P70 has the M4000M Quadro and the P50 machines have had the M2000M.

Very reliable machines in my experience.

Cheers,

Atli Jarl.
