Re: T430 Ultrabay or HDD Caddy and mSATA

The T430 does 100 % sure support mSATA, because I have one mSATA drive in my T430 and one normal HDD ind the ordinary slot.

kind regards

Re: T430 Ultrabay or HDD Caddy and mSATA

There goes nothing. I have checked the msata port and it is there all right. I have just ordered a msata drive. It will probably be here in 2 or 3 days. I will install it and update you guys. Thanks for your replies.

Re: T430 Ultrabay or HDD Caddy and mSATA

It will work as I am currently using one in my T430 alongside the original mechanical 7mm HDD.

Re: T430 Ultrabay or HDD Caddy and mSATA

It is alive Smiley Happy My mSata drive just arrived and I installed it in the T430 without any problems. The only problem I have encountered is when I was installing Windows 7 it installed the System partition to another drive so I have removed the other drives and reinstalled. It is working perfect. I now have 3 different drives in my T430.
I have chosen a Intel SSD 525 which have a Sata 3 interface with backward compatibility. Thank you all for your time and responses.
