T430s - Hissing/Buzzing sounds

I've been having an issue with buzzing/hissing sounds on my T430s pretty much out of the box a couple years ago. I'm new to the forum and thought I might as well reach out and see if anyone else has experienced this, and how I might fix it? The noise sounds like static/interference, and it seems to be affected by any kind of input into the computer (typing, moving the mouse, the processor loading something, or graphics moving on screen like a rotating graphic on a website).

Here's a link to an audio file I made that should help show what I mean.

Thanks!

Re: T430s - Hissing/Buzzing sounds

This is coil whine, and has been reported across many models over the past few years. Sometimes warranty will swap the motherboard/CPU out for one that works better, but it's luck of the draw for a combination of motherboard/CPU that works.

There's a bunch of threads around the Lenovo forums, as well as other brand forums.
