about half a year ago my audio adapter started to stop working from time to time. The solution every time is to disable and, directly after, enable the Realtek HD Audio driver in the device manager. That time this happened maybe one time in 2 or 3 days. Today I have to go through this procedure a few times a day and it's becoming annoying...
Do you guys have any idea maybe?
Thank you in advance
Maybe important could be the fact, that the audio adapter never at all stopped working as long as it's busy (making sound). If it would be possible, that it can stop working as long as it is making sound, I would have noticed for sure because I also use it for listening music, watching movies and even TV (I don't have another TV-receiver).
Another detail, when it stopped working and I change the volume (audio symbol bottom right of screen, right next to date/time) I can't hear the ding-sound of course but also can't see the ding-sound (this green color jumping up this vertical volume bar that represents the sound which is made at the moment).

Welcome to the community forums.
Have you tried reinstalling the driver? If not, we suggest uninstalling the audio driver in device manager then install the updated audio driver and BIOS. You may download the updated drivers here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/?CID=ww:lenovosocial:20x9m6. Update us how it goes.

I have the same problem with one of my 4 T430s. The offending unit is an i-7, the other 3 are i-5s. Other than that, they are identical. Once every month-or-so, I will lose audio, requiring reinstallation of the audio drivers. I posted about this a couple of years ago but go no solutions.
