I am trying to get support to fix my laptop, a Lenovo T430S. When I put my laptop to sleep, it crashes and doesn't recover from the sleep mode. I have updated most of the drivers involved with network, power management, and USB. I have copy and pasted the BSOD crash report - which shows TCPIP.SYS a isnd NTOSKRNL.EXE involved in a Drive_Power_State_Failure. I feel that some of the drivers are corrupted. Is there a way to restore the drivers to original settings without deleting files such as documents and programs?
I do not have a restore point prior to this malfunction. So I have backup my computer with windows backup software. Can I do a system restore (to original setting) and just recover my files from the backup?
