Dear I need to upgrade my BIOS on my T440p. The upgrade fails.
The upgrade is mandatory for my due my OS Debian Buster, when I shutdown, my computer is freezing. Others people resolve the issue by upgrading the BIOS.
I have try to upgrade my BIOS in version 2.34 (2015-07-23) to the last version 2.54.
Can you help me ? It is possilbe to download older bios version like 2.53 or older to try to upgrade my old 2.34 BIOS ?

One possibility is that the CD/DVD is defective. Can you try to re-create it?
If you look here and scroll down, you can see older versions:

Well, this may be a bit of a long winded way of doing it, but can you load windows temporarily, update the BIOS using Thinkvantage and then reloading your Debian OS?

two suggestions:
1. load default BIOS settings, and try again.
2. Is it still possible to downgrade to an older BIOS version like 2.33? If yes, are you than able to upgrade to 2.35 or newer?
